Care Plant in full to part sun and well drained soil. Dianthus is drought and deer tolerant. Water deeply once or twice weekly for the first 3 months. After this establishment period Dianthus only need watered in very hot, dry periods. Fertilize in early spring with a slow release fertilizer. Dead heading can encourage more blooming, but isnt necessary. 12"
